It is a family business that arose from the idea of giving teenage children the opportunity to get to know the world of work and to get them away from their cell phones and video games. All of this combined, of course, with my passion for cooking, for Spain and for always being innovative!!!!
In 2019, during a stay in Málaga where they were attending a Spanish language school, I had the opportunity to take a tapas and paellas class in Málaga, Spain, where my husband Christoph and our sons Sergio and Alexander had the opportunity to see how they are cooked, and that’s how their interest was born.
Now it’s more of a hobby than a job that we enjoy a lot and in which the four of us work very well together! We are aware that soon the kids won’t help us anymore as they start their education but my husband and I will keep going, we love doing PAELLAS!
The name ¡Ke Paellas! was given to us by our valued customers. With every paella we prepare, there are usually several Spanish-speaking people with us. The first thing they say when they see the paellas is: “¡Que paellas!”, which in Spanish means: “What paellas!” with surprise.
Since we wanted to include our name in the logo, we wrote “Que” as “Ke”, from “Kellers”, and this is how:
